Our business began in the field of pine chemicals, which are chemicals derived from pine trees. The cultivation of pine trees provides a natural source of materials such as rosin which are kind to the global environment and can be replenished almost indefinitely. Starting with biochemicals that utilize these natural resources in everyday products, we have developed a wide range of products for the paper-making chemical industry and electronic materials industry, including resins and chemicals for use in products such as inks, paints, adhesives and synthetic rubber emulsifiers.
By exploiting the technologies we have developed over many years, together with our skilled human resources and advanced R&D know-how, we are continuing to meet new challenges in advanced fields such as fine chemicals and electronics while minimizing our impact on the environment.
