At Harima Chemicals, we have been researching pine chemicals ever since the company was founded, and based on this research we have developed functional resins, papermaking chemicals and electronic materials. Furthermore, in developing new functional materials for new fields, our research and development work has created new products and new businesses through the integration of core technologies such as technology, joining technology, and emulsification/interface control techniques. By accurately assessing the ever-changing market forces and demands, our Central Research Laboratory and Tsukuba Research Laboratory play essential roles in carrying out research and development in all key fields of our business as well as fulfilling their corporate functions to support the technical development department of each business division.
