Welcome to Kakogawa Site, Harima‘s manufacturing hub in Japan!

Spreading over 110,000 square meters, the site is home to almost half of our employees located in Japan, and here we manufacture resins and tall oil products, paper chemicals, electronic materials, flavor and fragrance agents, etc.
The premises also accommodate our primary R&D center, a biomass power plant, together with Japan’s only crude tall oil distillation plant, whose pilot plant built in 1957 was designated Chemical Heritage in 2025. The site also hosts a marigold garden opened in 2019 to beautify the premises, and where we organize events for the community.
